Verdict
Mothcombe Dream gets a tentative vote over The Keep, with Bellalou and Yeldham Lady just three others with claims. Nothing stands out at all here, but Mothcombe Dream may have been hiding his light under a bushel and could easily improve to take this selling contest. His three runs to date have been against better company and with Jimmy Fortune taking over in the saddle, a big run could be on the cards. The Keep has shown nothing yet but his stable do not run them on the all-weather unless they are capable of actually winning a race, while Bellalou has minor claims on his third to Piddies Pride at Brighton. Yeldham Lady was second in similar company here in August, and was placed in a poor nursery at Yarmouth last time. This race is best brushed under the carpet as soon as possible, but a tiny investment on Mothcombe Dream may come up trumps.
