Verdict

Spring Goddess, Councellor and Lake Chini are three against the field in a tight affair and the vote is given to Spring Goddess. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but a reproduction of her latest second behind Mr Lambros sets the standard in the context of this race and off the same mark here will be hard to beat. Concellor rates the main danger on his latest third behind Alfonso but he is hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Lake Chini is another worthy of respect on her latest second behind Saviours Spirit but has yet to prove he stays this far. Of the remainder Marko Jadeo is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Ali Bruce has dropped to a handy mark and hails from a shrewd yard so should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Spring Goddess.
