Verdict
Kirkstone has rather harshly been raised 7lbs for winning a weak looking maiden last time and looks worth taking on off his new mark under the burden of top weight in a race where the vote goes to Captain Margaret, who is preferred to Street Life. The last mentioned has run well here before and has claims provided that he over the lameness that he suffered when last seen over hurdles. Eloquent Knight does not appear to be harshly treated off just a 3lb higher mark than when scoring last time but is far from certain to stay today's longer trip. Young Mick seems to be in the grip of the handicapper now and of more interest may be Blackmail, who is on a fair mark and should find this trip ideal. Winning hurdler Dubai Ace has a race of this nature in him and could be of interest but the vote goes to Captain Margaret, who caught the eye staying on over an inadequate 1m2f last time and should be better suited by today's longer trip.
