Verdict

SONG AND DANCE MAN didn't run as a juvenile but showed potential in his last two starts on Turf in the summer and, provided he acts on the surface, should have too much class for these. Gabrial The Terror made his debut over this trip at Wolverhampton and showed up well for a long way so should have come on enough to get competitive. But Devon Drum could provide the main threat as he landed a Newbury bumper on his racecourse debut and has since shown up well on the Flat and over hurdles. Ring Eye has been placed twice in three starts over hurdles in Ireland and may prove best of the remainder unless the market points to one of the newcomers.
