In depth

Verdict

Aah Haa has looked progressive in two runs after over two years off but his record when fresh isn't great so a better choice in this tight handicap might be SPARKLE PARK, after a career best performance last time, while Under Fire is also high on the list Lightly raced and after showing no real signs of form in maidens or a single handicap start the pick then looked a different animal when finding just the one too good last time. If he has turned the corner then he could go well in a race where recent good form is scarce. Aah Haa has a similar profile to the pick after he too ran his best race last time. Nick Gifford's charge has obviously has had his problems but if he attracts market confidence he might be of more interest. Under Fire has found consistency in his last two runs and that might be enough here while Al Rayanah's second to Bajan Pride at Wolverhampton in April gives him a chance off this weight. A trick puzzle but Sparkle Park could now have turned a corner.
