        Verdict

        Good to see Whitecrest return to winning brackets last time and he should be competitive once again off a 4lb higher mark. He faces two other last-time winners though, although Sir Pedro's victory was only achieved in selling company. HIGH ON LIFE seeks the hat-trick after a couple of decisive Windsor successes under Richard Hughes who travels on from the Royal meeting to take the ride once more. He appears a much-improved sort and looks best followed until beaten. it will be interesting to see how 7lb claimer Aaron Jones gets on with frustrating but useful hold-up performer, Welease Bwian, who has place claims at least if things pan out for him.
