      Verdict

A very difficult event to assess and we will take a chance on Adantino, with Ali Bruce and Port St Charles put forward as the main rivals. Adantino beat Port St Charles over the six furlong trip here last time, winning by a couple of lengths and is fact two pounds better off today. Port St Charles went in next time in a very competitive contest so the form does have a very solid look to it and with the extra furlong not a problem, he should be capable of going in again. Ali Bruce was also successful last time, winning a similar race to this over the mile trip at Wolverhampton. He previously ran well over course and distance so must be in with a shout here. Queenstown and Prince Of Gold are two others with the form to go close here, but at today's weights Adantino is very well treated and must have a sporting chance
