Verdict
Nobelix, In The Know and Come What Augustus are three against the field in this tricky opener and the tentative vote goes to Nobelix. The selection is a well bred half brother to a group winner in Germany. His top yard do well at this track and although he is sure to come on for the experience he will not need to be anything special to win this on his debut. In The Know rates the main danger he is another well bred sort and was sent off favourite on his debut but was very disappointing. However he is sure to know more here and is worth noting in the market. Come What Augustus is another worthy of respect but he is from a yard whose debutantes usually come on for the run. Of the remainder Trymore is from a yard in form but is bred to better over a longer trip and in a race where the market will be all important for the winner we return to Nobelix.
