In depth
Verdict
Currency and Smokin Joe are both chasing hat-tricks and look certain to be involved, but we will take a chance on Indian Steppes. Julian Poulton's mare ran a blinder over course and distance last time when going down by just half a length to Chimali, there were some very good handicappers behind on that occasion and he deserves to land a decent prize. Currency comes here following victories here and at Wolverhampton and has to be a big danger to the selection in this sort of mood. Smokin Joe takes a step down in distance today following an emphatic victory over seven furlongs last time, he is possibly better over longer, but did win over course and distance the time before and still looks on a decent mark. Million Percent is steadily returning to form and should go close off today's weight, however in a very competitive affair Indian Steppes just gets the verdict
