GOLD CLERMONT (NAP) was beaten less than a length over track and trip under today’s conditional last month. But Caolin Quinn can claim his 5lb allowance on this occasion and Andy Irvine’s mare is taken to come out best. The Imposter has improved for the fitting of a tongue-tie and won over a shorter trip here with Brandisova back in fourth while Captain Claude has improved for going handicapping and placed at Uttoxeter last time.
