Verdict

Division two of the maiden is definitely the weaker of the two and the least competitive with the very well bred AZIZI holding very strong claims leaving Naseby and Glass Of Red fighting for the minor honours. Out of a 1000 Guineas winner the pick is bred for trips around the stamina test he faces this time and after an encouraging debut ahead of a subsequent winner he should improve for that run and prove too classy for this lot. Naseby is an interesting newcomer from Roger Charlton's yard and is from a top class US family. Making an impact as a two-year-old shouldn't be an issue; neither should be this trip. Glass Of Red has shaped as if this step up in trip should suit and can continue improving and with another newcomer Christopher Wren the only other we consider in this field Azizi has a great opportunity to get off the mark.
