Verdict
MAY CHORUS can land the finale at the main expense of Candyfloss Girl and Kummel Excess. The selection arrives here on the back of a good effort over this course and distance earlier in the month when she chased home Maoi Chinn Tire. She is unexposed and she looks to be going the right way so she should run a big race. Candyfloss Girl looks her main rival as she was runner-up behind Freddie's Girl at Kempton last time and she is clearly more effective over this trip than the 7f she had been racing over on her previous two starts. In contrast, Kummel Excess looks better over 5f and she won a maiden in decent style over that trip at Wolverhampton back in December. Seek The Cash ran his best race yet at Lingfield last time and there could be more to come from him, although he tackles this trip for the first time today. Miss Lesley and Starwatch are others to consider, but the vote goes the way of May Chorus.
