        Verdict

        Music Major remains 3lb higher than when winning this race last year and Pivotal Flame is raised in class after landing a course and distance double. Mullarkey finished just in front of Unit of Assessment when fourth at Chelmsford and the latter was beaten a neck by Ban Shoof here earlier. Ryan Moore rides the latter but THE THIRD MAN is still preferred. Henry Spiller’s charge should be sharper today given he was having his first start since 2016 when a close-up fourth at Chelmsford and is taken to confirm running with Lazarus.
