Verdict
This is a tough race for punters to call but Wagtail, Gnillah and Yeoman Spirit are the three we like with the vote given to Wagtail. The selection was quite a costly purchase and this filly will be expected to make a winning bow before going on to better things. The market will provide a few clues with regards to her chance but she stands out as the most likely winner. Gnillah was slowly away on her debut at Newbury last year and she is sure to benefit from that experience. Her stable normally do well at this time of year in this type of race and she is respected. Yeoman Spirit is another newcomer who should go well but his breeding would suggest that he may be better over further in time. Marcello showed some ability on his debut at Wolverhampton and he might be capable of making the places today, but for the winner we will stick with Wagtail.
