Verdict
Having run here yesterday, this may come too soon for the Deborah Evans-trained Latif so a safer option looks to be Taxman who is preferred to High Hope. The last mentioned ran promisingly over course and distance on his return from a lengthy absence three weeks ago but may find this coming too soon so Gary Moore's gelding may be best watched. Charlie Cyzer's Master'n Commander lost no caste in defeat behind Captain Margaret over shorter here last time and should be suited by the return to further so has to be considered, while Easy Laughter has claims on the pick of his form and comes from a stable in good heart right now. Shakerattleandroll is difficult to recommend on recent evidence and preference is for Taxman. Clive Brittain's gelding seemed not to stay two miles last time but is only 1lb higher than when beating Captain Margaret the time before over course and distance and on that evidence he looks the one to beat.
