In depth

Verdict

Beach Bar has the highest rating of these but has barely raised a gallop so far this year. REGARDE MOI is partnered by an inexperienced claimer and his yard isn’t in the best of form but he’s run well enough on the all-weather this year to merit serious consideration in a race like this. Locommotion wasn’t beaten far at Salisbury last week so also deserves a second look but he has a mountain to climb at the weights as do the likes of recent Polytrack winner Chelwood Gate and Corporal Maddox.
