In depth

Verdict

DEALER'S CHOICE was easily beaten last time, despite being sent off a strong favourite, and it's dangerous to assume she's home and hosed here despite being the form choice. But first-time cheekpieces should help, likewise the 5lb allowance she receives from Malcolm The Pug, her main danger. The latter has yet to fulfil the promise of his Ascot juvenile debut but should shake up the likely market leader in what is a moderate maiden. Napping has revealed promise on both maiden starts and is next best ahead of Must Be Amazing and Spring Eternal, both of whom return after absences.
