In depth

Verdict

ALFAADHEL is penalised for winning at Chester but Jim Crowley still prefers his chances to those of Jawhary and Ebnzaidoon, who race in the same colours. The latter steps up in trip in first-time blinkers but Sir Rumi is preferred having won over a mile at Nottingham last month. Zhang Fei placed in a maiden when sent over to France last time while Chai Yo Power ran well here on last year’s debut before disappointing at Windsor.
