    Verdict

Musawama finished runner-up to the useful Shooting Gallery over a mile at Sandown in September and the Derby entry looks likely to be a warm order on his reappearance. He carries Hamdan Al Maktoum's first colours here but a chance is taken on the owner's other runner TASHEYAAT. She's a half-sister to three winners, has an entry in the Oaks and Barry Hills has won a couple of maidens here with potentially smart three-year-olds in the last week. The remainder look to be fighting it out for the places and Diocese is just preferred to King Kieren as the best of those.
