Verdict

Abayaan finished third at Wincanton earlier this month but was still beaten a long way and PILGREEN should be capable of conceding 7lb to Charlie Mann's gelding. The six-year-old beat Master Fiddle by two lengths at Ffos Las in December, despite hanging up the straight, and a repeat of that effort would probably suffice here. Hes Our Lad is probably best of the rest as he had Taylors Secret well in arrears when winning a Taunton bumper in November.
