Alfresco is better known as a sprinter though he's won over the course and distance. He's been staying on over 7f so has to be of interest on his return to a mile. Pour La Victoire has never won on Polytrack but has been going close off this sort of mark recently and should make a bold bid to lose his all-weather maiden tag. RED INVADER came in for support on his handicap debut a couple of weeks ago but got into all sorts of bother and had to settle for fourth. That was his first start since October and this should prove within his capabilities. Ad Vitam's last victory was over 6f but he stays this trip and looks reasonably treated with his young rider's claim a big help. It's almost two years since Legal Legacy won a race but he's dropped to a fair mark as a consequence and is also on the short-list.
