      Verdict

      Ask The Guru is the only one of these not to have scored over the course and distance and he's held on the form book on last month's run, as is Billy Red who keeps missing the break. The latter has won this in the two years it's been run, however, so must be considered a threat but Pharoh Jake has been looking a few pounds high in the ratings after his victory here in December. Desert Strike has already run nine times this year and scored here and at Wolverhampton, though he was just behind Ask The Guru a week ago when ROY'S LEGACY, who started favourite, was carried out on the turn. Compensation awaits the latter today granted better luck in-running.
