      Verdict

      A couple of these carry 4lb extra but have won off higher marks in the past. In The Red completed a double at Kempton with last week’s success but hasn’t scored on Turf since 2017 and FIELDSMAN is just preferred. The latter won at Chepstow earlier in the week and with an apprentice’s allowance negating today’s penalty, Tony Carroll’s charge may come out best once again. The Stalking Moon remains 6lb higher than when scoring at Leicester in September while Harlequin Rose has recorded all three wins so far at Brighton and Yarmouth third Amaretto has yet to win on Turf.
