Machree ended last year out of sorts but is now 4lb lower than when scoring at Redcar in May of last year and she likes fast ground. Colonel Frank was back to his best when only beaten a neck here last week, though that was over 6f. Grisons won twice on Turf last summer and was successful at Lingfield earlier this month but Line Of Reason may not be the force of old. HAN SOLO BERGER won on the July course here back in August and later at Yarmouth. He returned from a lay-off to record a fifth career victory at Kempton and that form has already been franked so the top weight looks up to defying a further 3lb rise.
