    Verdict

    ISLE OF WOLVES was largely progressive last year when tackling fast ground. He didn’t take to hurdles over the winter but reappeared with a second at Newbury and it wouldn’t take much more to land this. Wolverhampton winner Shaffire is set to make a quick reappearance after finishing second at Windsor on Wednesday but makes more appeal than Wimpole Hall and Brown Honey. It’s exactly a year since French Riviera saw a racecourse and Songkran is another best watched following a lengthy absence.
