In depth

Verdict

Commonsensical is a half-brother to three winners with pace in his pedigree and he is preferred to Carbon Positive of those having their first run. Bonnyrigg was staying on nicely here last week having veered on leaving the stalls. He’ll know more today but CITY CODE ran with equal promise at Newbury, despite only finishing fourth, and is just preferred. Majd Al Arab weakened quickly over 7f on debut so may do better dropping back a furlong.
