        Verdict

        PATIENT DREAM never threatened Gear Up when fourth at York but the form looks better in hindsight with the latter subsequently landing the Group 2 Acomb Stakes. Ralph Beckett’s colt should go close with normal progress and is preferred to Sandown fifth Greystoke. Of the newcomers, Falcon Brook is speedily bred but Hestercombe may need further to show her best with Prey For Glory another to note.
