Verdict
There was a fair bit to like about the way Husky got the better of Kings Topic here earlier in the month and, as such he is given a chance to confirm the form on favourable terms this afternoon. However, Montosari will not make it easy for the selection and he too merits serious consideration if there is strong support for him today. However, the mount of Darryll Holland faces no easy task under 6lb penalty and is reluctantly passed over at the likely prices. Husky, in contrast, escapes any extra burdens as his victory over this course and distance came two days before the window opened for the framing of this race, so he has a realistic chance of following up by the way the weights have been set. Roy McAvoy and Platinum Boy both have a few questions to answer so looks best left alone today - whereas Montosari edges it as the biggest danger to Husky after an easy win over a mile and half here last time.
