Verdict

AROMATIC is the selection ahead of Sri Kandi and Eastern Aria. John Gosden's filly holds an entry in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot and while that could prove somewhat fanciful, it is worth noting that her fifth in a Newmarket maiden has worked out very solidly indeed. Sri Kandi holds no such entries. She may have come on for her first run back. Eastern Aria made all to win a handicap at the course in March. She is clearly better than her recent run on turf suggests. Quirina wasn't far off listed class last term so watch the market on reappearance. Confidentiality is a very decent mare on her day though the handicapper has had plenty of chances to correct any errors in his assessment. King's Kazeem needs to step up on all known racecourse evidence. Aromatic is likely to be short odds and will need to land this to justify the merit of any of her future entries.
