Verdict
CELESTIAL DREAM is the selection in this trappy little handicap with Bahamian Ceilidh and Rublevka Star worthy of consideration. The handicapper has had to guess somewhat with regard to the merits of Andrew Balding's filly but 62 does not appear a harsh mark given some of the opposition she has beaten and the drop down to this five might be the making of her. Bahamian Ceilidh should have won more than just one of her ten starts. Always handy at Bath, she was close enough though not good enough on that occasion. Rublevka Star won at Great Leighs in a back end juvenile maiden but flopped on reappearance. The switch back to an artificial surface appears wise. Piste was an uneasy favourite at Bath and those market vibes proved spot on. Pocket's Pick makes a belated debut on an artificial surface whilst the remainder look hard to make cases for. Celestial Dream is the most interesting of these though is likely to be priced accordingly.
