In depth
Verdict
Young Bertie is selected here ahead of Hotham and Light Mozart. Hughie Morrison has his string in good form and Young Bertie, a recent winner over the seven furlong trip here can add to the trainers success. He ran another solid race on the turf last time and with an obvious liking for this circuit he looks the one to be on. Hotham has been revitalized by the move to Noel Wilson's yard and ran another solid race last time out when a close up third behind City For Conquest. He still looks on a fair mark and should be involved in the finish. Light Mozart wasn't beaten too far in a much better race than this last time at Goodwood and looks a solid each-way prospect. However our idea of the winner is Young Bertie.
