        Verdict

        Grizzle has gone close on more than one occasion and sets the standard, while Kinloch Castle was beaten only a head on his debut at Carlisle and could figure. Impel improved for the drop back to 6f last time so has a bit to prove here, but Isthmus and Mokbil are not easily dismissed after promising debuts. MAISTRO was unlucky on his introduction at Kempton as he was hampered in the final furlong and would have finished a lot closer then fourth. He gets the nod to open his account today, with Welsh Bard making most appeal of the newcomers.
