In depth
Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for this handicap with many in form rivals in opposition including Mission To Mars, Majilis and Mad Carew and the vote goes to Mission To Mars. The five-year-old was a good second behind Cold Turkey last time and that rival has since franked the form, so he will be hard to beat off the same mark here. Mad Carew rates the main danger he was a good second behind Paragon Of Virtue last time over 10 furlongs and if he sees out this longer trip he would have definite place claims. Majilis is another worthy of respect but his best form is over a longer distance and for that reason he is opposed. Bucks could also go well but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when fifth behind Victory Quest last time. Of the remainder Big Bertha is from a yard in form and goes well on the track but in a wide open affair we are happy to side with Mission To Mars.
