Verdict
Desert Image gets the vote here ahead of Keepers Knight, Trevian and Ivory Coast. The selection confirmed his progressive profile when winning a seven-furlong handicap here on January 7. He's been raised five pounds for that win but, now stepping up to a trip that he ought to stay, might be able to improve even further. Keepers Knight kept on well to land a course and distance handicap on January 10, so he can go well too, although he is seven pounds worse off for the three-and-a-half lengths he finished ahead Ivory Coast in that race mentioned. The last-named will get better with racing and it's hard tom say who will get the better of the argument today. Trevian landed an eight-furlong handicap here last time out and, racing from the same mark over this longer trip, could also go well. Turning to the others, Nessen Dorma is a dual Southwell winner but looked one-paced on his Lingfield debut last time. Lasting Delight, Taranai and El Magnifico are all stepping up in trip but they have a bit to prove overall on the formbook, and Little Eye has proven consistent but has yet to get his head in front. In the final analysis, then, Desert Image could pay to follow and,as such, gets our vote.
