In depth

Verdict

True Scarlet comes out best of those with a handicap rating including Cafe Milano and Lep. The former has gone close over a mile the last twice now but DISTANT GODDESS has placed over longer trips at Wolverhampton and makes more appeal. Charlie Appleby’s filly finished ahead of a subsequent winner last time and can open her account in this. The newcomer Copper Point also represents Godolphin, though the half-brother to Group 2 winner Eminent is fitted with a tongue-tie on his debut. Harmonious looks the most likely improver of the remainder.
