In depth

Verdict

MINELLA EXAMINER was in command once hitting the front here earlier this month. He’s been raised 9lb but still has only one below him in the weights today so a follow-up may be on the cards. From The Heart, lurking at the foot of the handicap, is also interesting and Flying Verse could figure if ready after a break. A strong gallop would suit Garrane and Big Nasty showed improved form following wind surgery at Uttoxeter but Bako De La Saulaie is probably best watched. Midnight Moss was second on his chasing bow at Huntingdon and is lightly raced for his age.
