jumped well albeit right at times, made all, mostly clear from 5th, unchallenged
chased winner throughout, jumped slowly 5th, well held when mistake 4 out, mistake 2 out, no chance with winner
raced wide and always last, mistake 4th, never on terms
Small fields suit FIRST FLOW and Kim Bailey’s novice has yet to run a bad race over fences. Having already won at Hereford and Leicester, he does carry a double penalty but should be capable of giving the weight away to Theatre Legend. Chris Grant’s runner is much less exposed and ran well for second at Sedgefield but will need more to go one better here. Etamine Du Cochet was tailed off at Warwick in November but has had wind surgery since and doesn’t lack ability.
First Flow (IRE) 8-11fav (11-8) Made all, jumped left 1st, not fluent 3rd, clear normal 2 out, easily, won at Leicester 2m hcp (3) hvy in Feb beating Albert's Back (11-1) by 17l, 4 ran.
