A competitive fillies' handicap, in which Capulette is fancied to run well at a possibly big price, with Czarina Waltz, In Love, Page Nouvelle and Akrmina all worthy of consideration. Capulette was a maiden winner at Yarmouth last season and although the bare form of her two starts this year are far from inspiring, there is enough to suggest she could run a big race here. Willie Jarvis' filly was last of five in a valuable rated stakes at Haydock on her reappearance, but not beaten far, and she failed to stay the mile and a half at Chester on her only subsequent start. The handicapper has dropped her six pounds since her Haydock run, and it may just be worth taking a chance that, over what should be her optimum conditions, she can run a big race here. There are plenty of dangers, however, not least In Love, a game winner of an Ayr maiden last year who makes her handicap debut here on what could be a fair mark. Czarina Waltz has been placed on both starts this season and Chris Wall's filly should again be in the shake-up, while Page Nouvelle is another who failed to see out the mile and a half at Chester last time but had earlier scored at Nottingham over ten furlongs and should not be too far away. Akrmina is a lightly-raced filly who steps up in distance for her handicap debut and could be on a fair mark.
