Verdict

A very interesting maiden can go to Bee Seventeen, who gets the nomination after an encouraging start at Newmarket earlier in the month. The Godolphin-owned newcomer Chaski along with Duelling and Donna Giovanna are others to consider. Donna Giovanna was done for toe near the finish when she made her debut at headquarters three weeks ago. However, she can be expected to have come on for the run and a market move for her will be noteworthy, as her yard have been back amongst the winners lately. Duelling was not given a hard time when she was introduced at Windsor and is also fancied to be a lot wiser this time around. Her dam won at this trip as a juvenile and it will be dangerous to ignore any positive vibes about her today. Chaski is a half-sister to useful sprinter Pearl Grey and can make her mark before too long. However, her yard have not really been sending the winners out with their usual regularity this term and the jury is still out regarding their form. Therefore, we prefer to go with the established effort registered by Bee Seventeen. Time may tell that this daughter of Chester House came up against a smart individual on her debut and, with that run looking solid, Bee Seventeen is fancied to go one better today.
