It wasn't a strong seller that Raimond Ridge won last time out and it may pay to side with DECKCHAIR who caught the eye running on late at Lingfield on Wednesday. Hugh Collingridge's gelding was outpaced throughout over five furlongs just a couple of days ago but he got going near the line and wasn't beaten far. Like the majority in the line-up, his strike-rate is nothing to shout about but he doesn't look badly handicapped and from a good draw he may prove hard to beat. Raimond Ridge and Elusive Ronnie are both course and distance winners and the last-named has a bit of work to do to turn the tables on Raimond Ridge on their recent clash despite a 6lb pull in the weights. Mean Mr Mustard wasn't disgraced in defeat last time but he got an easy lead and it was disappointing that he was unable to capitalise on that. Another average race, with the vote going to Deckchair.
