Verdict

Key Regard, a well-related newcomer, needs respect if the market vibes are positive; however BOMBER BROWN was a real eye catcher on his debut and is fancied to get off the mark in this weak maiden. Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt was an eye-catcher when seventh at the track on debut. That was over a mile and he was doing all of his best work at the line, so with stamina on his dam's side, the colt is expected to take this race. Brian Meehan's already gelded son of Johannesburg, Bromhead, comes here on the back of a debut fifth at the track and he is another who is expected to improve for the experience and also today's longer trip. Ian Semple tries a visor on Myshkin, who has shown nothing to date, whilst General Sam will be qualified for handicaps after this run and with the handicapper unlikely to allot him a lofty mark, that may be where his future lies. Kochanski, one of two fillies in the line-up, needs to improve for the longer trip today, and we will stick with Bomber Brown to flatten his rivals.
