Verdict

Nico de Boinville dropped his whip when SIMONIA was beaten by Sea Story on her debut at Ludlow. Ned Curtis has the responsibility to recoup losses here and Nicky Henderson’s well-bred daughter of Yeats, a half-sister to four winners including the top-class Simonsig, should take all the beating. Buildmeupbuttercup made a winning start over 1m6f at Warwick in a race which has produced a subsequent winner. But the four-year-old has a penalty to carry and just as interesting is Alan King’s debutante Sixty’s Belle. She’s a half-sister to smart bumper/hurdler Spirit Of Kayf and is likely to know her job. Foxtrot Juliet’s dam liked a fast surface so she should handle the Polytrack and her yard continues in excellent form.
