Verdict
ROYAL DREAM was making his handicap debut when fourth over a mile at Southwell on his reappearance and this extra distance may bring further progress. Afloat would have finished closer at Chelmsford last time with a clear run but Kamanika was beaten on the Polytrack here before scoring on soft ground at Nottingham last month. Ectocross won on the all-weather here in March though Smooth Ryder and Corporate Raider weren’t far behind when filling the places.
