      Verdict

      Ivy Avenue, a three-time winner in Ireland for Jim Bolger, has finished runner-up on both starts since joining Michael Appleby but been beaten six and 12 lengths respectively. NINE ELMS already has two course wins to his name this season and was a third in a Class 5 last time. The seven-time winner now has a first start for Kevin Frost and sets the form standard. The remaining quartet need to improve on previous performances, although Longuerue is unexposed and has a first outing for Robert Eddery.
