Verdict
There is a reason why Morse has to give weight away all round here and it will not be surprising to see the son of Shinko Forest have enough determination to hold off Tag Team and Emtilaak, who will both be hard to keep out of the frame if they run up to their best. A similar statement applies to Instant Recall, who made a good start to his career with two solid efforts at this course before losing his way when upped in class. His latest efforts have suggested that he may need a little more assistance from the handicapper though and he is probably best watched today. So too is Bella Tutrice, who has been struggling outside her age group of late and looks to be in need of a confidence booster. This also applies to her stablemate, Catch The Wind, who was outclassed behind the likes of Lake Garda last month and has a fair bit to do with a few of these if she puts in a similar effort today. This brings us back to Morse, who has been given plenty of time since finishing eighth in a valuable handicap at Newmarket when he was last seen out. That form looks reliable in the context of this race and Morse need only run to that level to get back to winning ways again here.
