        Verdict

        Kieren Fallon can drag the best out of Bubbling Fun, who is just preferred over La Petite Chinoise and the Illeana, who spearhead the list of dangers. A strong mention also has to be passed on about the John Dunlop-trained Alaloof, who was strongly fancied to make an immediate impact in handicap company in April but spoilt her chance with a slow start. This sort of trip should be the making of her and it will be no surprise to see her go close this afternoon. However, the step up in trip is also expected to bring the best out of the selection, who can help Ed Dunlop get one over on his esteemed father this afternoon. The daughter of Marju got better the further she went when finishing third behind Foxilla at Windsor on her latest start - a performance that reads well in the context of this race. A clearer passage would have seen her get closer to the winner on that occasion and it will be surprising if Fallon is not live to her chance if Bubbling Fun can negotiate her way through the pack near the finish here. Illeana is still unexposed at this trip but this looks a much tougher race than she won at Newcastle last time. So it may be down to La Petite Chinoise, who is leniently treated off 66, to give Bubbling Fun the most to do.
