Verdict
The day's most valuable contest can go Tawoos ahead of Corriolanus, Del Mar Sunset and The Prince to name but three. Tawoos has been in great form while trained in Scandinavia, having earlier been successful for the late Alec Stewart. She was victorious here nine days ago in a fillies' handicap when brought with a strong, late run by today's pilot Tony Culhane and now has her first outing for Newmarket trainer Rae Guest, although her former handler is still the owner. She will have no problem with the step back up in trip and brings a touch of class to proceedings. Corriolanus was giving lumps of weight away to the winner when second over a mile and a half here last time and may do better dropped back in distance, while Del Mar Sunset has yet to win over 10 furlongs but was showing no signs of stopping when making all at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. The Prince has been a revelation this season and turns out quickly after finishing unplaced at Wolverhampton. You would not rule him out here either though, and although Impeller has plenty of weight, he is another with the class to take a hand. However, Tawoos is the pick on her current form and can pay to support
