Verdict
Painted Dream has never won but has dropped to her lowest-ever mark and was staying on over 6f at Southwell last time. Maazel gained his only all-weather victory here in March and will be better for his recent effort at Kempton where he didn't get the run of the race. PEARL SPECTRE (NAP), nine times a winner on the all-weather, went ahead inside the final furlong when tackling a mile at Chelmsford on Monday and was only headed on the line so victory number 10 looks on the cards from a 1lb lower mark. Prince Rock also ran at that meeting and wasn't beaten far over this trip but is now 0-24
