        Verdict

        Lady Rossetti was flattered by her proximity to the winner when runner-up at Wolverhampton recently but should improve for this longer trip. French import Majestueux is hard to assess but the booking of Steve Drowne for his British debut takes the eye. The likes of Royal Etiquette and Lean Machine look thoroughly exposed but NECESSITY shaped well when fifth in a bumper over 1m5f here on his debut in November. A half-brother to three winners on the Flat, Simon Dow's charge will appreciate today's shorter trip and can take this.
