In depth

Verdict

A desperate affair so we’re not ruling out the returning Matrow's Lady, even though she hasn’t raced since April and this trip is probably beyond her best. Burgess Dream is only a pound higher than when winning over hurdles here three weeks ago but he finished well behind Roparta Avenue and Spartilla at Plumpton last April. CHEAT THE CHEATER (NAP) needs plenty of urging but has the right man on board in Richard Johnson and Claire Dyson’s charge is back on a winning mark - his turn may have come around again.
